Terms and Conditions of Application to HUMUN’25
Application Processes
The Public Relations Department and the Secretariat of HUMUN’25 are responsible for the acceptance, rejection, and allocation of participants.
Application Information
All the information given by the applicant (individual delegate, advisor or head delegate) must be given and approved by the applicant and must be accurate. The confirmation for this article is important due to the fact that HUMUN’25 will be sending all the necessary information regarding the conference via email.
Note to Advisors
It is advised for advisors to make sure they have written all of the required information about the delegates along with their MUN experiences in the Delegation application form.
Dress Code
All participants are expected to be in formal business attire during all sessions and ceremonies. Gentlemen need to be in suits i.e., male delegates are expected to attend the conference wearing ties, and gentlewomen in business suits or dresses. Please keep in mind that delegates who are not dressed appropriately will not be allowed in the sessions.
Note Passing
The Administrative Staff is responsible for note-passing during the sessions. Note passing between forums is not permitted. Notes should always be written in formal English, concerning matters relating to committee work. Private messages will not be sent.
Please be reminded that the Administrative Staff and Committee Directors are entitled to scan your notes.
Opening Speeches
All delegates are required to deliver an opening speech in the first session of the conference.
Punctuality and Attendance
All delegates are required to arrive on time for each session, which is five minutes before each session starts. Constant tardiness and missing more than three sessions might result in the revoking of your Certificate of Participation and any awards you may have been about to receive.
Social Events
All delegates must strive to keep a polite, respectful, and professional tone in all their communications and interactions with other delegates, chairs, staff, and advisors. The delegates who harass or discomfort other delegates by any means during the social events will be given a warning.
Noncompliance with the aforementioned rules may result in official warnings or the expulsion of a delegate.
Accommodation Policy
HUMUN’25 does not provide any accommodation services. Suggestions however can be made upon request from the delegations. It is the responsibility of participants to make sure they have accommodation in Ankara if they plan on participating in HUMUN’25 from outside of Ankara.
Responsibility Within Campus
All participants are strictly not allowed to leave the HUMUN’25 conference premises for the duration of the conference. HUMUN’25, Hacettepe University Alumni Association and Hacettepe University is not responsible for any issues caused outside of the Conference premises within the Hacettepe University Campus.
Damage Policy
Participants are responsible for all the damages they may cause on the University and Conference property and will be subjected to reimbursements.
Payment Policy
All fees are strictly and only collected by Hacettepe University Alumni Association. Hacettepe University Model United Nations Society functioning under the ‘Hacettepe Üniversitesi Sağlık, Kültür ve Spor Daire Başkanlığı’ (SKSDB), in accordance with the Hacettepe Üniversitesi Öğrenci Toplulukları Kuruluş ve İşleyiş Yönergesi does not collect, receive nor engage in transactions of payments in any form. Hacettepe University Model United Nations Society does not stand to gain any funds or profits from its events.
Refund Policy
Hacettepe University Model United Nations Conference'2025 has a strict no-refund policy. This means that once a transaction has been made to the Hacettepe University Alumni Association it cannot be refunded, unless there was a mistake caused by HUMUN'25 Organisational Team.
