Committee Description:

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is an operative organ under the General Assembly. It convenes twice a year and to ensure international peace and security. It is the only organ of the United Nations that has bidding power through issuing resolutions.

In this council, the delegates are expected to participate in the first half-yearly meeting of the UNSC and discuss upon various matters on the agenda. With the council’s dynamic nature, if there shall be a new situation that threatens the global security, the members of the council are expected to take actions immediately.
